The position involves working as a Data Scientist for Air System applications, supporting the development of safe and balanced design solutions while considering factors such as performance, cost, environmental impact, industrial constraints, and operational requirements.
The role focuses on developing machine learning and deep learning models that enable predictive and prescriptive decision making using in-service and design data. The position also includes building analytics dashboards to evaluate the operational reliability of aircraft air systems.
You will collaborate with multiple teams across Airbus, including groups responsible for data analytics and predictive maintenance, and leverage data platforms such as Skywise and Palantir to generate business intelligence insights.
The role also requires coordination with stakeholders across engineering teams, procurement, production, customer service, quality, and configuration management to ensure solutions meet operational needs.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
