About the Role

We are seeking an AI Engineer Intern to assist in the integration, deployment, and operationalization of advanced AI models and components. This internship focuses on Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Small Language Models (SLMs), and prompt engineering to enable conversational AI and workflow automation. You will collaborate with seasoned professionals to implement scalable AI solutions and contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer processes.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End AI Solution Development: Build data pipelines, perform ETL operations, preprocess data, and integrate foundational models such as GPT and BERT using Azure AI services.
• Model Integration: Apply Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to produce context-aware outputs.
• Backend Development: Create backend services and APIs ensuring scalability and security.
• Frontend Integration: Work with UI/UX designs to develop user-friendly interfaces for AI model interaction.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Prepare detailed documentation for smooth handovers and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Design and implement testing protocols, automated QA workflows, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Deployment & Operationalization: Manage production deployment using Azure tools, monitor performance, and maintain lifecycle documentation.
• Innovation & Self-Development: Stay updated on AI advancements, suggest process improvements, and take ownership of assigned projects.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python for AI scripting and data handling
• Experience with Azure AI services and deployment tools
• Knowledge of data pipeline development, ETL processes, and data preprocessing
• Backend development experience with frameworks like Flask or Django
• Understanding of testing frameworks and automated QA processes
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Self-driven and adaptable to diverse AI development tasks

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques
• Knowledge of prompt engineering for generative AI optimization
• Background in predictive modeling and machine learning
