Job Description

• Prepare and deliver patent search and analysis services in coordination with laboratory teams and intellectual property legal staff within the Global Legal Service Center.
• Use subject matter knowledge in physical sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or Materials and Polymer Science to support IP related activities.
• Conduct detailed patent searches and analytical work using platforms including PatSnap and Espacenet.
• Independently manage incoming search requests, prioritize tasks, and gather all required information to meet search objectives.
• Create clear and accurate search reports that evaluate technologies and patent claims.
• Work with IP liaisons and patent attorneys to support the broader intellectual property management process.
• Identify and resolve issues or inconsistencies by interpreting available data and researching applicable rules or guidelines.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information such as invention records, patent applications, and filing strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to understand data management and search requirements.
• Participate in cross functional teams, cross divisional initiatives, and special projects when required.

Document stakeholder instructions and maintain accurate records to ensure traceability and proper documentation.
