SBI Life Insurance presents IdeationX 2.0, a business plan competition for India’s brightest minds. This nationwide contest invites innovative students to propose transformative solutions to real-world challenges in the insurance industry. With massive rewards, pre-placement interviews (PPIs), and national exposure on the line, IdeationX 2.0 is your chance to leave a mark on India’s insurance sector.
Eligibility Criteria
- Who Can Participate:
- Open to students from a curated list of 100 colleges across India.
- Students from Engineering, MBA, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate programs can apply.
- Only teams of 3 students are allowed.
- Other Rules:
- All team members must belong to the same college.
- Cross-specialisation and cross-year teams are allowed.
- Cross-college teams are not allowed.
- A student can be a member of only one team.
- Violating any eligibility rule will lead to immediate disqualification.

Round 0: Virtual Launch Event

- An introductory session featuring mentors, structure explanation, and insights into the insurance domain.
Round 1: Idea Screening Submission (Live)
- Start: 14 July 2025 | 4:00 PM IST
- End: 06 August 2025 | 11:59 PM IST
- Submit a 2-minute video pitch describing:
- Your idea
- Its relevance in the insurance sector
- Real-world feasibility
Round 2: Detailed Summary Submission
- Format: 8–10 slide presentation expanding your pitch.
- Content: Deep dive into strategy, scalability, market fit, implementation plan, and potential challenges.
- Timeline: Dates to be announced.
Round 3: Zonal Semi-Finale (Offline)
- Location: Regional hubs across 4 zones in India.
- Format: In-person pitch to a jury of industry professionals.
- Timeline: Dates to be announced.
Round 4: Grand Finale (Offline)
- Date: 03 October 2025 | 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM IST
- Finalists present their solutions to SBI Life leadership and top industry executives.

Submission Guidelines
- Video pitch must be original, under 2 minutes, and should explain:
- The problem
- Your solution
- Its feasibility and impact
- PowerPoint presentations must be concise (8-10 slides), with structured insights into your idea.
- Late submissions or plagiarized content will lead to disqualification.
