This initiative aims to provide college students with hands-on experience in public policy, governance, and economic development. With applications now open for the March 2025 session, this internship serves as a valuable platform for aspiring professionals. NITI Aayog has announced the revised Internship Scheme for 2025, replacing the previous guidelines from 03-10-2017. The scheme is designed to engage students pursuing Undergraduate, Graduate, or Postgraduate Degrees, as well as Research Scholars, from recognized universities and institutions within India and abroad. Interns will gain exposure to various verticals, divisions, and units within NITI Aayog and will contribute by collecting and analyzing empirical data from both internal and external sources. This internship offers invaluable insight into the functioning of the Indian Government, benefiting interns in their future careers.
The objective of this internship is to provide short-term exposure to selected candidates by assigning them to various divisions and units within NITI Aayog. The available domains/areas for internships are listed in Annexure ‘A’.
