Programs Offered
1. Summer Internship / Short-Term Project
Duration: May 22, 2025 – July 21, 2025
Objective: Offers hands-on research experience by assigning students a focused research problem in computer science. Work is conducted under the supervision of a NISER faculty member.
Certificate: Issued upon successful completion of the project.
2. Long-Term / Dissertation Project Work
Duration: July to December 2025 (up to 6 months)
Objective: Suitable for postgraduate students looking to complete their academic dissertation/thesis work in the field of Computer Science.
Certificate: Issued upon completion of the project.
Eligibility Criteria
Who can apply: UG/PG students currently enrolled in Computer Science or related disciplines in recognized institutions or universities.
Not eligible:
Students who have previously participated in this program at NISER.
Applications not endorsed by a faculty mentor (PI) with available seats.
Stipend and Fees
For Summer Internship:
Stipend: ₹5,000/month (only for students not receiving financial support from any other agency).
Travel Support: Second Class Sleeper train fare (to and fro) after successful completion.
Accommodation: May be provided in hostels at ₹30/day (subject to availability).
Program Fee: None.
For Long-Term Dissertation:
Stipend: Not provided.
Program Fee: ₹10,000 for the 6-month period (applicable only for students from private universities/institutions).
Accommodation: Subject to availability and additional charges.
