The SAFETRIP Lab at IIT Roorkee has opened its doors for internship applications for Summer 2025. This is a golden opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research involving technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Computer Vision, and Bayesian Statistics, among others.
SAFETRIP (Safety Analytics for Future Enhancement of Traffic Operations and Accident Prevention) Lab is a premier research lab at the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Roorkee. The lab is led by Prof. Indrajit Ghosh, whose work focuses on transportation safety, cyber-physical systems, and AI/ML in real-world scenarios. The lab actively collaborates with various ministries and institutions on high-impact projects related to smart cities, disaster evacuation, pedestrian safety, and more.
