Applicants must rank in the top 20% of their batch based on their CGPA or percentage across all previous years in their specific discipline. This rank must be officially certified by the Head of the Institution or Principal at the time of application.
3. Enrollment Status:
You must be a full-time, regular student at the time of application and throughout the internship.
The application process is entirely online. Emailed or offline applications will be immediately rejected.
The selection process is merit-based. It includes a preliminary screening of your application followed by an online interview with the respective department or mentor faculty. Recognition in Olympiads, National Talent Search Exams, or prior research work will give you an edge.
Selected candidates will be notified exclusively via email. No communication will be sent to unselected applicants.
Can B.Sc. students apply for the SURE Internship?
No, B.Sc. students (even those in triple majors) are not eligible for this program.
I don’t have my 1st-semester marksheet yet. Can I still apply?
Unfortunately, no. If your previous semester’s results have not been published, you are not eligible to apply this year.
Is there an application fee?
No, the SURE internship application and program are completely free of cost.
Can I change my mentor after being selected?
No, you cannot change your mentor once allotted, as you select your preferred guide during the initial application process.
