About IIT Delhi Summer Internship 2025

The IIT Delhi Summer Internship Programme is a prestigious opportunity for top-performing undergraduate students from engineering institutes across India and abroad (except IITs). Selected students will undertake research projects at IIT Delhi, working closely with faculty members on advanced topics.

Internship Duration

The internship will be conducted for a period of 8 to 12 weeks during the summer break, allowing students ample time to contribute to significant research projects.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the IIT Delhi Summer Internship 2025, students must meet the following criteria:

• Must be pursuing an undergraduate engineering degree.
• Should have completed at least two years of study in their degree program.
• Must be among the top ten students in their respective program or branch.
• Students from IITs are not eligible to apply.

Application Process: Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Online Registration

2. Register by choosing a unique username and setting up a password.
3. Provide a valid email ID and an alternate email ID (optional).
4. Choose a security question and set an answer.
5. Enter the captcha code and click on ‘Register Me’.
6. You will be redirected to the login page.

Step 2: Login & Fill the Application Form

1. Log in using your username and password.
2. Enter your personal details, including full name, date of birth, and gender.
3. Provide contact information, including postal address, mobile number (optional), and telephone number (optional).
4. Enter educational details, including:
   • Name of institution
   • Degree program
   • Specialization
   • CGPA/Percentage and ranking in the class
5. Select your research area of interest and write a statement of interest (1000 characters max).
6. Mention academic achievements, awards, or competitions won.

Step 3: Upload Required Documents

The applicant must upload the following documents in the specified format:

1. Photograph (JPG format, 200×230 pixels, max size 100KB).
2. Consolidated Grade Card (PDF format, max size 2MB).
3. Rank Certificate (PDF format, max size 2MB) – Download Rank Certificate Format
4. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the home institute, stating the internship duration at IIT Delhi (PDF format, max size 2MB) – Download NOC Format

Step 4: Submission

• After reviewing all the details, click Submit.
• Once submitted, no modifications can be made.
