Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following academic qualifications:

1. For UG Students:
   • B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication
   • Must be in the 7th or 8th semester
2. For PG Students:
   • M.Tech (3rd or 4th semester) in relevant disciplines from AICTE/UGC recognized institutions.
3. For M.Sc Physics Students:
   • Must be in the 2nd year, preferably with a focus on Optics.
4. Academic Performance:
   • Minimum 8.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale or 85% marks consistently in all semesters.
   • Should possess a strong academic record and achievements (if any).
5. Age Limit: Below 28 years
6. Other Requirements:
   • Application must include a brief bio-data (under 300 words).
   • Students must not have any backlogs.
   • Recommendation letter from the Principal/Director on college letterhead is mandatory.

Stipend Details

• Interns will receive ₹5,000/month
• Paid in two equal installments:
  • First: After completion of 3 months
  • Second: After 6 months and submission of project work

Selection Procedure

1. Merit-Based Shortlisting:

Internship Terms & Conditions

• No accommodation or transport will be provided. Interns must arrange it themselves.
• Certificate of completion is awarded only if the full 6-month internship is completed.
• No certificate or stipend will be provided to students who exit before 3 months.
• This internship does not guarantee any future employment with DRDO.
• Selection and final decisions are at the sole discretion of DYSL-QT management.
