Position Overview
The L1 Service Desk role is responsible for providing remote technical support and assistance to customers. The position focuses on resolving user issues efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction, and escalating complex issues when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customers through phone, chat, and email support.
- Provide IT support to global clients in a 24/7 rotational shift setup.
- Troubleshoot desktop hardware, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Perform remote diagnostics and guide users through issue resolution steps.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and software applications.
- Create and maintain real-time support tickets while meeting SLA requirements.
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to higher support teams.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with team members using platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Skype.
- Deliver quality customer service while handling multiple tasks efficiently.
- Recommend process improvements and updates to knowledge base documentation.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of computer systems and basic technical troubleshooting.
Qualifications
Experience: 0 to 0.6 months in IT support.
Education: Any graduate.
