Job Description
Zeotap is hiring Software Engineer Interns to join its Engineering team in Bengaluru. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about developing data-driven applications, resolving complex problems, and working in a collaborative environment. As an intern, you will gain exposure to production-grade development practices, work on real-world projects, and contribute to engineering support initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of modules within data-driven applications
- Write high-quality production-ready code following best practices
- Assist with troubleshooting and debugging in production environments
- Research and implement modern technologies relevant to Zeotap's use cases
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve support tickets within SLA
- Escalate issues internally as per SOPs and document solutions
- Author internal knowledge base articles for recurring issues
- Comply with all privacy, security, and company policies
- Complete all assigned training programs on time
Requirements
- Must be available for a minimum of 6 months full-time internship
- Strong knowledge of advanced data structures and algorithms
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Programming proficiency in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, GoLang, Python
- Proficient in SQL with the ability to write complex queries
- Experience working with large-scale (terabyte-sized) datasets
- Understanding of transactional systems and scalable system design
- Exposure to Big Data and NoSQL technologies (preferred through academic courses)
- Degree: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
- Strong academic performance
