Role Purpose

The trainee will contribute to designing, developing, and troubleshooting solutions, models, and simulations using various software tools according to project and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Develop Solutions

• Create models and solutions using software tools such as CAD and CAE based on project plans and client specifications.
• Test prototypes and designs created on software platforms while validating boundary conditions including impact and stress analysis.
• Prepare specifications and evaluate operational feasibility by integrating software components into functional systems.
• Develop prototypes from engineering drawings and prepare corresponding CAD models.
• Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for new client requirements.
• Run simulations in virtual environments to deliver optimized solutions.
• Ensure software tools remain updated with the latest features to improve cost effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and enhance applications or solutions through recommendations and system implementations.
• Follow standard operating procedures and industry practices while modeling solutions as per client requirements.

Customer Support and Issue Resolution

• Resolve defects raised by clients or integration teams and address tickets efficiently.
• Create software verification plans and quality assurance procedures for customer solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems while maintaining efficiency and minimal latency.
• Deploy programs and assess user feedback to ensure satisfactory resolution.
• Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare weekly and monthly status reports for clients.
• Maintain documentation and repositories of design updates, changes, and recommendations.
• Track work through timesheets for client projects.
• Provide written knowledge transfer and project history documentation.

Performance Parameters

• Design and development aligned with project schedules and implementation standards.
• Quality delivery with minimal corrections and adherence to compliance requirements.
• Timely MIS reporting and documentation for project tracking.
