About this role

Wells Fargo is looking for a Financial Accounting Associate to support financial accounting matters for lines of business and control functions.

In this role, you will:

• Support financial accounting work for lines of business and control functions.
• Review routine activities involved in maintaining ledger accounts, financial statements and regulatory reports.
• Gather financial data for financial and regulatory reports.
• Review data from the general ledger, unit reports and various financial systems to confirm accuracy.
• Take direction from managers and use independent judgment while building an understanding of financial control functions under the company's internal control policies.
• Work with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and reach goals.

They are accountable for executing applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), following Wells Fargo policies, meeting risk and compliance obligations, escalating and remediating issues in a timely way, and making sound risk decisions.
