Job Description

Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (_VOIS) is seeking a motivated and technically inclined Assistant Manager – Assurance Junior Engineer to join its technology team. As part of the VT Network Operations business area, this role will focus on ensuring the health and performance of critical network systems and applications while maintaining high standards of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• System Monitoring & Management
  Monitor the operational health and performance of systems such as Infovista, Cramer, Netcool, and other internal web applications. Ensure system uptime, efficiency, and preventive maintenance to avoid critical issues.
• Incident Handling
  Identify, acknowledge, and raise incidents related to supported systems. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and status updates.
• Health Monitoring & KPI Reporting
  Use monitoring tools to perform routine system health checks. Generate performance reports based on key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver insights to senior engineers.
• Collaboration with Senior Engineers
  Support senior team members by gaining a strong understanding of the network architecture, systems environment, and ongoing operations. Maintain issue trackers and support implementation activities.
• Documentation & Process Management
  Review existing documentation and create/maintain records of daily procedures, configurations, troubleshooting steps, and system logs. Participate in the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Continuous Learning & Improvement
  Stay curious and proactive in identifying areas of improvement based on customer feedback. Collaborate with seniors to analyze recurring issues and propose optimization opportunities.
