Job Description:
Unisys is hiring Student Technical Interns who will be involved in real-world projects and gain hands-on experience working in a collaborative environment. This internship provides the opportunity to explore and apply software development practices and tools while contributing to Unisys' innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize learned processes, standards, and tools on assigned projects
• Learn specific products, tools, or technical domains under guidance
• Participate in various phases of software development such as design, implementation, support
• Work independently or collaboratively within a team
• Escalate issues as required
• Understand task requirements and deliver within scope and time
• Under supervision, carry out defined tasks including:
  • Implementing simple features
  • Writing clear and accurate documentation
  • Setting up and maintaining development environments
  • Executing pre-written tests
  • Writing and reviewing test cases
  • Fixing basic defects or issues in defined code areas
  • Assisting in problem analysis and resolution
• Provide timely updates on work progress, both verbal and written

Candidate Profile:

• Basic understanding of software engineering principles
• Familiar with software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Exposure to one or more programming languages (Java, Python, C, etc.)
• Quick learner with adaptability to new technologies
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Effective team player and capable of working independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A natural curiosity for technology and innovation
