Role Summary

Join Unisys as a Student Technical Intern and gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects in a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities

• Utilize learned tools, standards, and processes on assigned projects
• Learn and explore Unisys products, tools, or technical areas with support from technical staff
• Participate in various stages of the software development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, and support
• Work independently or as part of a high-performing team
• Identify and escalate technical issues when needed
• Understand project requirements and task estimates provided by senior team members
• Under guidance, carry out well-defined tasks such as:
  • Implement simple software features
  • Create clear and accurate documentation
  • Set up and manage development environments
  • Run automated or manual tests
  • Write and review test cases
  • Implement and validate test cases
  • Assist in debugging and fixing minor defects

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field
• Understanding of basic software engineering and SDLC concepts
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
• Curious and enthusiastic about technology and innovation
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to contribute effectively both independently and within a team
