What Success Looks Like in This Role
This internship helps students build practical knowledge and skills within a technical discipline. Work assignments are completed under the guidance of a supervisor, manager, or senior associate. The role may operate on an alternating schedule where students attend school or vocational training during non‑working periods.
Interns develop exposure across areas such as technical support, software development, data analysis and reporting, networking or infrastructure support, and DevSecOps or cloud operations.
Technical Support
- Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
- Help resolve network connectivity issues and support system configuration tasks.
- Support IT teams with management of company devices.
Software Development
- Write basic code or scripts for internal tools and small projects.
- Support testing activities to identify software defects.
- Participate in code reviews and gain familiarity with version control and secure coding practices.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Assist with collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data.
- Create reports, dashboards, or visual presentations using tools such as Excel or PowerPoint.
Networking and Infrastructure Support
- Help with installation and configuration of network hardware.
- Monitor network performance and identify possible issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware, security, and other infrastructure concerns.
DevSecOps
- Support automation of routine tasks using scripts or programming tools.
- Assist with cloud infrastructure management activities.
- Help maintain CI/CD pipelines and assist with application deployment.
Additional Activities
- Support project coordination and progress tracking tasks.
- Conduct research and compile information for reports or presentations.
- Organize documentation and materials to support team or project activities.
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required. Typically less than one year of experience in the relevant area.
