What Success Looks Like in This Role
With guidance, the Associate Technical Service Desk professional performs routine support activities for end users and helps restore system functionality.
- Provide first line user support by guiding users through steps needed to resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems using remote access tools.
- Escalate complex incidents to second and third level resolver teams when required.
- Coordinate and complete end user service requests, including software installation and user administration tasks.
- Ensure support tickets are followed through to closure and keep users informed about status and progress.
- Follow Service Desk policies and procedures related to desktops, peripherals, connectivity, and security.
- Contribute to the improvement of the Service Desk knowledge base.
- Deliver outcomes aligned with organizational service level agreements (SLAs).
- Support special assignments and projects when required.
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Typically less than one year of experience in a related support area.
