Role Overview
In this role, you will assist with routine service desk and technical support tasks under guidance. The position focuses on helping end users resolve common technical issues and ensuring service requests are handled efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line user support by guiding users through steps required to restore system functionality.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems using remote access tools.
- Escalate more complex incidents to second- and third-level resolver teams when required.
- Coordinate and fulfill end-user service requests, including software installation and user administration requests.
- Manage support tickets through to resolution while keeping users informed of status and progress.
- Follow service desk, desktop, peripheral, connectivity, and security procedures and policies.
- Contribute to improvements in the service desk knowledge base.
- Support organizational service level agreements (SLAs) and assist with special assignments when needed.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Typically less than one year of experience in a related area.
