What Success Looks Like in This Role
With guidance, the associate performs routine support activities and assists users in resolving common technical issues. The role focuses on providing first level support and ensuring service requests are handled efficiently.
- Provide first line user assistance by guiding users through steps required to restore system functionality.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems using remote access tools.
- Escalate complex incidents to second and third level resolver teams when required.
- Coordinate and complete end user service requests, including software installations and user administration tasks.
- Track and manage service tickets until closure while keeping users informed about progress and status.
- Follow service desk, desktop, peripheral, connectivity, and security policies and procedures.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements of the service desk knowledge base.
- Deliver results aligned with the organization’s service level agreements.
- Assist with additional assignments and special projects when needed.
