Overview
What success looks like in this role
- With guidance, perform routine support activities including assisting users with first-line support and helping restore functionality.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems using remote access tools.
- Escalate more complex issues to second and third-level support teams when required.
- Coordinate and complete end-user service requests, including software installation and user administration tasks.
- Ensure support tickets are tracked through closure while keeping users informed about status and progress.
- Follow Service Desk, desktop, peripheral, connectivity, and security procedures and policies.
- Support continuous improvement of the Service Desk knowledge base.
- Deliver results aligned with organizational SLAs.
- Assist with assigned special projects.
Requirements
High School diploma or GED required.
Generally less than 1 year of experience in the related area of responsibility.
