Key Responsibilities

You will help build systems that give traders real-time execution intelligence. This role suits someone who wants to grow into Java and modern cloud deployment.

• Develop and maintain Java alert engines that process real-time trading events (alerting pipelines over AMPS messaging).
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-based deployments (Helm, Ansible, Terraform) for the platform.
• Contribute across a polyglot codebase that includes Go, JavaScript and kdb/q, alongside core Java services.
• Write clean, well-tested code and take part in code reviews to keep quality high.
• Learn the Pulse domain quickly and grow into an owner of engine and deployment components.

The Team

You will join the Pulse Desktop team, part of the Agency Trading Algos Crew, in Pune. The team builds the platform that gives sales traders execution intelligence through real-time alerting for the Agency Trading business.

The stack runs from Java alert engines and Go distributors, through kdb/q real-time data, to JavaScript front-ends, all deployed on Kubernetes through a fully automated CI/CD pipeline. You will get broad exposure, early ownership and plenty of support.

Skills and Experience

• Solid Java fundamentals, including object-oriented design, collections and testing (required).
• Eagerness to learn, strong problem-solving ability and intellectual curiosity.
• Exposure to CI/CD and an interest in build and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes, ideally on Azure.
• Working knowledge of databases (SQL / PostgreSQL).
• Any exposure to Go, JavaScript or kdb/q is a plus.
• A collaborative, team-first approach and clear communication.
• Curiosity about using AI to improve how software is built, delivered and optimized, applied with sound judgment and in line with policies, risk standards and ethical use.
