Summary
Trimble is seeking a Software Engineer 1 to join the Owner & Public Sector engineering team. This role is suited for recent graduates or early-career engineers who want to build modern SaaS products while working with AI‑assisted development tools and global engineering teams.
You will work in a fast-paced product development environment and contribute to software that supports critical infrastructure systems used worldwide.
What You Will Do
- Guided AI Development: Use coding assistants and AI agents to build production-ready features while maintaining high code quality and proper test coverage.
- Feature Implementation: Work on clearly defined tasks and user stories for cloud-based SaaS applications, with mentorship from senior engineers.
- Collaborative Learning: Participate in global code reviews and sprint activities, using AI tools to document work and understand system architecture.
- Continuous Growth: Explore new automation tools and AI agents that help improve development speed and engineering efficiency.
Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Recent graduates are welcome.
- Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Technical Exposure: Academic or project experience in one of the following stacks:
- Option A: C#, .NET, and SQL
- Option B: Node.js, Java, or React/Angular
