Position Overview
We are seeking a Trainee Software Engineer to join our Automation Platform team in Pune, India. This role involves developing and maintaining automation system codes and HMI interfaces used in various crane applications manufactured by Konecranes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of crane control system automation codes and HMI interfaces.
- Collaborate with R&D teams for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of industrial PLC systems, preferably SIEMENS TIA Portal.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C++ or Python.
- Strong teamwork, multitasking, and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Konecranes crane systems.
- Experience with Konecranes IT systems.
Experience & Education
- Experience: 0-1 year
- Education: B.Tech/BE or equivalent degree
