Burns & McDonnell is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals from the 2026 graduating batch to join as Trainee Mechanical Engineers in our Mumbai office. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience and work alongside seasoned professionals in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements and complete tasks assigned by supervisors.
- Shadow senior engineers, ask relevant questions, and assist wherever needed.
- Identify potential issues, raise concerns, and suggest improvements.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and training programs.
- Document observations and share findings with supervisors.
- Foster strong professional relationships with team members and colleagues.
- Maintain professionalism, dependability, and diligence in all tasks.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in Mumbai and the United States to resolve engineering and design challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination.
- Graduating in the year 2026.
- Proficiency in English with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and observational skills.
- Willingness to assist across different engineering domains.
- Strong learning aptitude and adaptability.
