Job Description
This role is for a Trainee Database Administrator (DBA) who will support database operations and technical support processes. The position involves assisting the team with daily project activities and handling support tickets while gaining exposure to database management environments.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create, update, and manage support tickets using tracking dashboards within ServiceNow.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and handle straightforward queries, including logging tickets in tracking systems before escalating complex issues.
- Support team members with day to day operational tasks related to ongoing projects.
- Resolve Level 1 and Level 2 technical support tickets when possible.
- Participate in team brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas or suggestions.
- Escalate unresolved or complex technical problems to Level 2 (L2) or Level 3 (L3) engineering teams with proper documentation and notes.
