Associate E-File Analyst (US Tax Forms - 1040/1041)
Thomson Reuters is looking for an Associate E-File Analyst to ensure the accuracy and reliability of US tax forms, specifically 1040 and 1041. This role is integral to maintaining the quality of our e-filing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and validate Gosystem software to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Manage and resolve issues, collaborate with development teams, and drive continuous improvements.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of tax forms to meet compliance standards.
- Analyze scenarios and ensure correct e-file output generation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve defects and enhance product quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- 2+ years of experience in QA testing or tax form analysis
- Strong understanding of US tax forms (1040/1041)
- Experience with XML, XSD, or similar schemas for e-file validation
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

This role involves ensuring the accuracy and reliability of tax software through rigorous testing and validation of e-file outputs, resolving issues via ServiceNow, and collaborating with onshore counterparts and developers.
