The TMG Development program is a 12-month program for new college graduates in the TMG organization.

A Test Engineer at Texas Instruments is part of a team that designs, develops and implements cost-effective ways to test and troubleshoot systems and equipment. You will prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, and write specifications and procedures for new products.

Responsibilities

• Work with the design team to understand design specifications
• Generate test plans, and create test and characterization programs, including designing ATE hardware interface boards
• Debug characterizing silicon on ATE and correlate results with bench data
• Analyze silicon results and support failure analysis tasks
• Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout, debug and fix yield issues, and optimize test time
• Work with the production team to release products to volume production
• Define and implement test strategies for new products
• Carry out silicon qualification and characterization, including qual hardware development
• Perform comprehensive device debugging, design validation and failure analysis
• Drive robust, cost-effective test solutions while being accountable for product quality
