Overview
Role Responsibilities
- Participate in designing, coding, testing, and supporting major software components, emphasizing testability and quality.
- Develop expertise in the existing product by reverse engineering code and gaining in-depth knowledge for designing and enhancing features.
- Collaborate with team leaders, project managers, team members, and supporting groups, such as customer support and engineering, on medium to complex database enhancements.
- Work on projects with multiple team members, contributing to the Teradata RDBMS product enhancements.
Eligibility
- Batch: 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021
- Education Requirement: B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Required Technical Skills
C, Data Structures, RDBMS, SQL, Analytical Problem Solving, Debugging
Desired Skills
Operating Systems (UNIX, Windows), Database Engine Design, SQL Construction, Complex Parallel Software, System Programming
Candidate Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in C and knowledge of data structures.
- Familiarity with RDBMS and SQL.
- Creative problem-solving and strong debugging capabilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with algorithmic solutions, considering complexity and performance.
- Comfortable in a team environment and mission-critical 24/7 operations.
