Role Description

Telestream is looking for a passionate and proactive Junior Software Engineer to join its Bangalore office. As a key contributor, you will be involved in various aspects of software development, including UI, backend, and testing. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a strong programming foundation and a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work across the software stack including UI, backend, and testing components
• Analyze software requirements and clarify scope of changes
• Implement assigned features while adhering to design and coding standards
• Maintain responsibility for code quality, including writing unit tests
• Review and incorporate feedback from code reviews (merge requests)
• Interact with hardware platforms and networking equipment as needed
• Collaborate effectively with team members, show initiative, accept constructive feedback, and continuously improve

Eligibility

Eligible Batches: 2023, 2024, 2025 (final-year students may apply if available for full-time role)
Education Requirement: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field

Required Skills

• Strong programming logic and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with C and C++
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with modern C++ (C++11 or later)
• Familiarity with Linux development, including commands and internals
• Exposure to real-time operating systems
