Tata Communications Hiring Jr Customer Service Executive - AutoCAD (Chennai) | Freshers Eligible

The team is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented fresher CAD Engineer with 0 to 1 year of experience in structural drawing using AutoCAD (2D/3D drawing and annotations) for wireless telecom sites. The role involves creating, modifying and maintaining technical drawings and 3D models with CAD software.

Requirements and Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, including 2D drafting and annotations, 3D modeling, layers, blocks and dynamic blocks, Xrefs, dimensioning and plotting.
• Adapt to different operator standards and prepare detailed drawing plans (preliminary, detailed design and as-builts) for telecom structures and buildings.
• Follow SOPs to develop and maintain structural and building drawings and detailed 2D/3D models in DWG format.
• Study client inputs covering structure, antenna, shelter, mount and strengthening details, fabrication drawings, lease area details and technologies.
• Prepare site access plans, site layouts, antenna layouts, site elevations, equipment room and cabinet layouts, ancillary configurations and electrical details as per client standards in AutoCAD DWG format.
• Produce structural drawings for towers or monopoles, shelters/ODUs, strengthening, foundations, and antenna/dish/RRU mounts based on design documents, survey information and photos.
• Prepare dynamic CAD blocks as per specifications.
• Work with engineers and project teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Prepare the BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation for production.
• Deliver documentation in DWG and PDF formats and maintain version control of all CAD files.
• Understand 2G/3G/4G and 5G concepts and interpret RAN equipment from reports and photos.
• Prepare cable schematics and electrical schematics from antenna to BBU.
