Role Overview

The Engineer IT - End User Services supports daily IT operations by maintaining systems, resolving technical issues, and assisting employees with hardware and software requirements. The position works closely with internal users to ensure reliable system performance and timely issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer hardware, software, operating systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks across the organization.
• Respond to service requests and incidents within defined timelines.
• Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes where possible.
• Escalate complex incidents to specialized support teams when required.
• Provide technical assistance to employees in person or through remote support.
• Create and manage accounts for new users.

Key Performance Indicators

• Time to own incidents
• Time to resolve issues
• User experience and customer survey scores
• First-time resolution rate
• Site availability, capacity, and performance
• Asset health and CMDB accuracy
• Compliance with IT management processes and procedures

Technical Environment

• Client operating systems including Microsoft Windows 10 and 11, and Linux.
• Microsoft Office and O365 tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project. Knowledge of Visio is preferred.
• Experience installing and configuring workstations, servers, printers, and supporting meetings or project setups.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts including LAN and WAN.

Preferred Certifications

• MCSE certification
• ITIL certification
