About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Entry Level Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support product development from concept to launch, working closely with product managers and designers. You’ll collaborate in a fast-paced, innovative environment and help shape the future of AI-driven products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain features and functionality for Syft AI
- Translate user needs into technical requirements in collaboration with product managers and designers
- Implement APIs and integrate Syft AI with messaging platforms and calendar systems (Google, Apple, CalDAV)
- Optimize code and improve application performance for a seamless user experience
- Participate in testing, debugging, and maintaining high-quality code standards
- Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
Requirements
- Experience in software development with focus on backend development and API integration
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java
- Familiarity with AI/ML models, APIs, or chatbots is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud) and database management
- Understanding of agile development practices and teamwork in collaborative environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
