Role Overview

Swiss Re is seeking high-potential graduates with a strong analytical and technical mindset to support data and system-driven transformation within the Technical Accounting function. The role centers on enabling business processes through an internal platform used for data processing, validation, and reporting.

The position works at the intersection of data, systems, and business logic. The selected candidate will help translate requirements into structured and scalable solutions. This is not a transaction-processing position, it focuses on data, systems, and implementation enablement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding and preparation of datasets into internal systems, including data mapping, validation, and testing.
• Work with large datasets to analyze, clean, and verify data quality.
• Support the development of data transformation logic and basic automation processes.
• Conduct data quality checks and highlight inconsistencies or missing information.
• Participate in system testing and validate outputs for different business scenarios.
• Collaborate with Technical Accounting teams, data and analytics specialists, and IT or system implementation teams.
• Help improve data accuracy, process efficiency, and usability of internal systems.

Skills & Qualifications

Education

• Graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Analytics.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of Excel for data handling and formulas.
• Understanding of SQL or Python is preferred.
• Familiarity with data structures and data handling concepts.
• Logical thinking and a structured approach to problem solving.
