Job Description
As a Specialist in F&A - AP, you will be responsible for:
- Calculating and posting business transactions, processing invoices, and verifying financial data for maintaining accounts payable records.
- Processing invoices with PO and Non-PO.
- Reviewing invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.
- Ensuring quality of AP processes and handling all non-compliant and non-standard processes within the country.
- Verifying and calculating all extensions and totals on invoices, including calculating and taking discounts when applicable.
- Checking vendor files for previous payments and assigning voucher numbers. Preparing vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount, and coding per accounting policies and procedures.
- Identifying and implementing AP improvements.
- Performing vendor reconciliation, managing vendor payment cycles, GRIR reconciliations, and vendor advances.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or Finance; or Master's degree in Finance.
Certifications
Accounts Payable Certification (F-TecF-Tec), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) - Skillab, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Perfekt Szolnok, Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) - Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje.
