Overview

Job Description:

Work as a Software Developer in Test (SDET) on releases for SOTI products.
Create feature files and develop tests using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
Review code and identify gaps while implementing BDD.
Conduct code reviews and gap analyses.
Reduce regression cycles and enable quicker product releases.
Manage the end-to-end product release cycle.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA teams, and Scrum Masters to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Provide technical training and mentorship to enhance team skills.
Participate in Agile rituals like sprint planning, grooming, estimates, and demos.
Report on product quality and testing progress to leadership teams.

Experience & Skills Required:

Must-Have Skills:

0-1 year of experience in software development or testing.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (C#) and OOP concepts.
Excellent analytical skills to identify and execute test scenarios.
Good communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks and test script creation.
Experience with SpecFlow and related tools for BDD.
Knowledge of database and API testing.
Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, TFS, Visual Studio, and Jira.
Strong debugging skills.
Understanding of black-box testing techniques.
Knowledge of QA processes and the ability to create effective test cases.
