Overview
Job Description:
- Work as a Software Developer in Test (SDET) on releases for SOTI products.
- Create feature files and develop tests using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Review code and identify gaps while implementing BDD.
- Conduct code reviews and gap analyses.
- Reduce regression cycles and enable quicker product releases.
- Manage the end-to-end product release cycle.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA teams, and Scrum Masters to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to enhance team skills.
- Participate in Agile rituals like sprint planning, grooming, estimates, and demos.
- Report on product quality and testing progress to leadership teams.
Experience & Skills Required:
Must-Have Skills:
- 0-1 year of experience in software development or testing.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (C#) and OOP concepts.
- Excellent analytical skills to identify and execute test scenarios.
- Good communication skills.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks and test script creation.
- Experience with SpecFlow and related tools for BDD.
- Knowledge of database and API testing.
- Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, TFS, Visual Studio, and Jira.
- Strong debugging skills.
- Understanding of black-box testing techniques.
- Knowledge of QA processes and the ability to create effective test cases.
