Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software Tester to ensure the quality and performance of our Software Configuration Tool. The role involves thorough testing, identifying bugs, and collaborating with the development team to enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate user stories and use cases into detailed test cases.
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Conduct QA testing for improvements, business requirements, and bug fixes.
- Execute various testing levels including system, integration, and regression.
- Design and develop automation scripts as needed.
- Identify and document bugs with precision.
- Assess product functionality and overall user experience.
- Record and report issues to the development team.
- Provide support and maintain documentation.
- Diagnose issues promptly and propose effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages and development platforms.
- Ability to gather requirements accurately and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize testing scope.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Basic understanding of operating systems and networking concepts.
