Position Overview
We are seeking passionate and driven Software Engineering Interns to join our Engineering team at our Bangalore Development Center. This internship offers the opportunity to work on core products, gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle, and contribute to impactful cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop software applications to enhance Mimecast’s product offerings
- Work on projects involving NLP, AI, data compression, machine learning, and search technologies
- Collaborate on scalability challenges involving large-scale data
- Participate in building advanced services to protect organizations from modern threats
- Engage in the complete SDLC from requirements gathering to production release
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA and DevOps
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Entering the penultimate year of study
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python)
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems and APIs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) is a plus
