Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer I to join our growing Bangalore team in a hybrid work setup. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple disciplines—front-end, back-end, test automation, operations, and infrastructure—building a diverse skillset while contributing to impactful products.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept to release.
- Engage in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
- Develop new features and enhance existing functionalities.
- Maintain and extend service APIs.
- Collaborate in quality assurance processes and defect resolution.
- Work closely with systems engineers to diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency in coding, testing, design, and troubleshooting, and coach peers in effective AI utilization.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Golang, Java, C/C++, or Node.js.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and CSS preprocessors (for front-end engineers).
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Linux command-line operations.
- Track record of building scalable, high-availability applications.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Fluency in English and legal eligibility to work in India.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL.
- Familiarity with AWS services and certifications.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, HashiCorp).
- Proficiency in Linux debugging tools like tcpdump and strace.
