Job Overview
Larsen & Toubro is seeking a motivated Software Engineer for its D&DC Land Systems division in Talegaon. This role is ideal for fresh graduates with a strong foundation in programming and operating systems who are eager to work on complex, large-scale software systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software using C and C++ programming languages.
- Work with operating systems such as Linux, VxWorks, and QNX.
- Program in multi-threaded and multi-process environments.
- Utilize tools like Linux, Jira, and inter-process communication mechanisms.
- Design and implement tools to accelerate development and debugging processes.
- Support and resolve issues reported from customer sites.
- Analyze scalability and interworking issues, performing root cause analysis.
- Develop built-in diagnostics and test codes to enhance reliability and supportability.
- Work on distributed architecture systems with intercommunication capabilities.
- Integrate communication protocols across devices such as Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN, NMEA, and ModBus.
- Apply knowledge of IP protocols, VLANs, and Ethernet switching.
- Participate in the development of large, complex software systems.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
- Understanding of operating system principles.
- Experience in multi-threading and multi-processing.
- Knowledge of Linux, VxWorks, QNX, and Jira.
- Strong analytical, integration, and debugging skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields.
Experience
0 - 1 years of relevant experience (Freshers encouraged to apply).
