Partner with the best

Design and improve products as a full-stack software engineer. Contribute to Akamai's portal, ensuring excellent user experiences with its solutions. Build a platform supporting distributed development, enabling rapid product and feature launches by Akamai and third parties.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, unit testing, and rollout of features.
• Working closely with globally distributed, cross-functional teams to deliver features.
• Developing unit tests, performing code reviews, and working closely with QA engineers to ensure high code quality.
• Executing a cross-functional Scrum role, handling development, testing, supporting QA, and resolving integration or production issues as necessary.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent.
• Have 0 to 2 years of experience in Java.
• Have 0 to 2 years of experience in UI technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, and familiarity with general concepts of responsiveness.
• Have competency in data structures, algorithms, and databases.
• Be passionate, self-driven, and able to excel with minimum supervision.
