About the Role
Oracle is seeking a Software Developer 1 to join the SDaaS Services team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role involves working with modern DevOps technologies and enhancing CI/CD workflows in a complex distributed environment. You will collaborate with senior engineers to support application deployments, perform upgrades, and implement automation across various tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Build automation, integration, and continuously delivered software solutions.
- Implement modern configuration management practices.
- Manage workflows for multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Develop and enhance automation for integration across DevOps tools.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines with new automation capabilities.
- Implement disaster recovery and high availability support for SDaaS services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, workflow, and tooling issues.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems.
- Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and JavaScript.
- Experience with DevOps toolchain: Git, Jenkins, code scanning tools, monitoring systems, Artifactory, JIRA.
- Familiarity with Agile/Lean methodologies such as SCRUM and Kanban.
- Understanding of software application development and design principles.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Podman.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Fresh graduates with up to 2 years of experience are eligible.
