About the Internship
Odoo is seeking passionate and creative Software Developer Interns to join our Research & Development team in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. This is an exciting opportunity for final-year students to gain hands-on experience in open-source development and make a real-world impact on our suite of business applications used by millions globally.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and enhance applications within the Odoo ecosystem.
- Work on frameworks, existing apps, or front-end interfaces.
- Contribute to open-source projects and collaborate with the global development community.
- Participate in various domains including app development, framework development, security, SaaS, DevOps, and performance optimization.
- Engage in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and feature improvement discussions.
Technologies You Will Use
- Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript
- Database: PostgreSQL with ORM
- Version Control: GitHub
- Framework: Odoo (ORM, Workflows, Report Engine, BI, AI)
- Web: HTML5, CSS3
Requirements
- Currently pursuing BE in IT/CS, MCA, MSc IT, or B.Tech.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language.
- Strong passion for software development and problem-solving.
- Available for a full-time 6-month internship (5 days/week).
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience contributing to open-source projects.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux platforms.
- Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and GitHub workflows.
