The role is primarily based in Noida and may involve collaboration or visits to other Siemens locations in India and globally.

Role Overview
As a Software Engineer within the QuestaSim R&D team at Siemens EDA, you will contribute to the development of simulation technologies. The work includes building algorithmic improvements and contributing to software design and architecture.
You will collaborate with experienced software engineers to deliver production quality components, develop new engines, and maintain or enhance existing codebases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve core algorithms and software architecture for the QuestaSim simulation platform.
- Work closely with a team of senior engineers to deliver production quality components.
- Design new engines and extend existing code to support evolving product capabilities.
- Contribute to algorithm development and implementation in a collaborative R&D environment.
Required Experience and Skills
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience with a B.Tech or M.Tech in CSE, EE, or ECE from a reputed engineering institute.
- Strong knowledge of C or C++ along with algorithms and data structures.
- Understanding of compiler concepts and optimization techniques.
- Experience working on UNIX or Linux platforms.
- Knowledge of digital electronics fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL is valued.
- Exposure to parallel algorithms or distributed job execution is beneficial.
- Understanding of machine learning or AI algorithms and their implementation in data driven applications is a plus.
- Exposure to simulation or formal verification methodologies is advantageous.
The role requires strong analytical ability, self motivation, and the capacity to work independently while contributing to team goals.
