About the Role
Spyne is seeking a Software Development Engineer Intern to join its Technology team. This is a practical engineering internship for individuals who enjoy building, debugging, learning, and problem-solving. You will work alongside experienced engineers and collaborate with the Frontend, Backend, and AI teams to develop and enhance real-world products used at scale. What You'll Do
- Build and improve frontend and backend features using technologies such as React.js and Node.js.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
- Work with databases and contribute to data-driven applications.
- Convert product and UI requirements into functional, scalable features.
- Debug issues, identify root causes, and improve application performance.
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, product, and AI teams.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to engineering best practices.
- Learn and contribute to new technologies as the product evolves.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and deliver them end-to-end with mentorship.
What We're Looking For
Technical Skills
- Good understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms and core programming concepts.
- Strong fundamentals in JavaScript.
- Exposure to React.js and/or Node.js.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and databases.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Understanding of HTML and CSS is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus.
