The EDO S1 Data Operations team at S&P Global is a project focused, international group committed to excellence in sustainability data management. The team maintains one of the world’s most comprehensive datasets on corporate sustainability and supports global investors, corporates, and stakeholders with ESG insights.

Working in a collaborative and agile environment, the team contributes to innovation in sustainability indices and benchmarking methodologies for global clients and stakeholders.

Team members are responsible for maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of ESG data. Their work helps S&P Global deliver clarity and confidence to clients navigating the transition toward a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and validate sustainability and financial data following defined guidelines.
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity within proprietary databases.
  • Summarize and synthesize information gathered from multiple sources.
  • Meet individual and team targets for quality and efficiency.
  • Use MS Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for daily tasks.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong research and analytical capabilities.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Understanding of ESG concepts and sustainability reporting standards.
  • Ability to interpret company documents such as annual reports and sustainability reports.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts and manage deadlines.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in a related domain.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Power BI is an advantage.

Preferred Academics

  • Degrees in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Analytics, Economics, Public Policy, Environmental Engineering, or similar disciplines.
  • Advanced degrees or professional certifications in ESG or sustainability reporting are valued.
  • Master’s qualifications such as MBA, CA, or CFA are considered beneficial.
