Role: Analyst, South Asia Power and Renewables Research
The Energy-CERA team is seeking an analyst focused on power and renewable market research across South Asian countries. The group operates within the APAC research division under the Global Power team and delivers forward-looking market analysis and insights through reports, presentations, and direct engagement with clients.
This position contributes to research, analysis, and power modeling activities. The analyst will produce accurate and timely analytical outputs while providing valuable market insights for clients. Coverage includes South Asian power and renewables markets with focus areas such as policies, regulations, market reforms, trends, forecasts, and market modeling.
The role is central to conducting PLEXOS modeling and forecasting exercises. The analyst will manage and update the India PLEXOS model, develop long-term forecasts, and coordinate assumptions with internal teams.
The position also supports ongoing research projects, including work related to India power and renewable market profiles in wholesale markets and South Asia LCOE assessments for countries such as India and Sri Lanka.
