About the Role

SHL is seeking a passionate Research Intern, AI to join our team in Gurgaon. This internship offers the opportunity to work on groundbreaking AI/ML projects in natural language processing, speech, and computer vision, with the potential for conversion to a full-time Research Engineer, AI role based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and experiment with advanced AI/ML models in NLP, speech, and vision using deep learning techniques.
• Prototype generative AI models, including LLMs, RAG, and multimodal AI systems.
• Assist in creating and optimizing AI/ML solutions for real-world applications.
• Implement orchestration frameworks and performance monitoring tools for ML models.
• Collaborate on scalable ML model deployment in production environments.
• Contribute to data collection, annotation, and validation processes.
• Support research publications and documentation on AI/ML advancements.

Required Qualifications

• Availability to work full-time for a period of 3–6 months.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with AI/ML projects through internships, research, or academic work.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in NLP, computer vision, or speech processing.
• Understanding of Generative AI models, LLMs, and deep learning methods.
• Knowledge of statistical modelling, mathematical optimization, and ML fairness principles.
