Overview

Role Overview:
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the design and development of software for Qualcomm’s mobile chipsets and cutting-edge technologies. This role offers hands-on experience in areas such as multimedia technologies, wireless modem technologies, platform-level software, and IoT technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop real-time embedded software and device drivers.
  • Work on mobile software development for platforms like Windows Mobile, Android, or Linux.
  • Design and develop multimedia technologies, including audio, video, and imaging solutions.
  • Contribute to wireless modem and connectivity software and firmware development.
  • Build software architecture for embedded devices based on Android and Windows.
  • Collaborate on communication protocol stack software development and kernel, BSP, and device driver development.
  • Utilize object-oriented programming to design and implement solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of OS concepts and data structures.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and object-oriented design.
  • Knowledge of wireless network standards such as CDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE.
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX, Linux Drivers, and Kernel Development.
  • Familiarity with protocols like TCP, UDP, IP, SIP, and RTP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education Requirement:
Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, Communication Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
